A little about Alex...
Born and raised in Centerville, OH, Alex has always had a love of performing and grew up taking dance lessons, singing in choirs and producing dozens of shows for friends and relatives in her basement. Throughout high school, Alex participated in theatrical productions in her hometown and in the Dayton area with the Muse Machine. Alex went on to graduate with a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Michigan.
After graduation, Alex originated the role of Hope Harcourt on the 1st National Tour of Roundabout Theatre Company’s Tony Award winning revival of Anything Goes directed by Kathleen Marshall. Since then Alex has worked on developing new musicals, working under the direction of Michael Mayer and Casey Nicholaw. She has also performed roles regionally with Music Theatre Wichita, Pittsburgh CLO, and The Denver Center. Most recently, Alex starred as Cosette in the Broadway revival of Les Miserables alongside Alfie Boe and Montego Glover.
Alex originated the role of Johanna in the critically acclaimed revival of Sweeney Todd at the Barrow Street Theatre which opened in March of 2017.
She can now be seen in the Tony Award Winning Musical Come From Away on Broadway as Janice & Others.
